Is Ryanair Priority worth it?
It is a good deal if you travel with a carry-on suitcase and a small bag (or backpack) is not enough. In that case Priority and 2 Cabin bags is you best and the cheapest option. Otherwise you have to drop off your suitcase into checked-in baggage. It is more expensive and slower both during check-in and while leaving the airport.
At the same time the fact that you board the plane in the Priority Queue is not such a significant advantage. First, recently there are as many if not more people in the Priority Queue than in the regular queue. Second, in many airport, after passing through the gate you go to the plane by bus. In that case, Priority is actually a disadvantage because by boarding the bus first you may be the last one to leave it.
Can I take a 10kg bag on Ryanair for free?
Non-priority customers can only bring one small bag (40cm x 20cm x 25cm), that must fit under a seat. While there is no weight restrictions, it is unlikely a small bag of such size (like laptop backpack) will reach that weight.

How to save money of Ryanair Priority
- The best feature of Priority is the 10kg carry-on bag.
- The Priority Boarding is limited per flight. In other words, not all passengers on the flight can buy Priority. It is sold on first come first served basis. So if you know in advance that you travel with a carry-on suitcase, book it in advance. If it gets sold out, other options to get your baggage on board are much more expensive.
- If you definitely need to bring a 10kg carry-on, but missed Priority your next option is to check-in 10kg of baggage for £/€25.
